Relapse Prevention Program Description
Our Relapse Prevention program is conducted in a group setting, facilitated by professional counseling staff. It follows a 12-week cycle designed to educate clients and help them learn to recognize and address relapse warning signs.
Clients should be willing to participate actively in a group setting, and complete written assignments. Our Relapse Prevention group explores relapse triggers, hidden warning signs, and assists clients in developing strategies that support a healthy recovery program. The curriculum is based on Terrence Gorski’s Relapse Prevention model, and clients receive a certificate of completion after fulfilling the 12-week commitment.
It is expected that all participants will be engaged with some form of support network and actively working to confront their issues while participating in the relapse prevention program.
Assessments, individual counseling, and referrals to other levels of care are also available.
Additional information may be obtained by contacting our knowledgeable program staff at (800) 811-1800 or (408) 370-9688
