We were so happy to find Support Systems Homes for our son. While
researching various drug rehabilitation programs, we found so many
of them lacking in one or more of the components that we felt were
so important. Support Systems has them all! 12 Step base, an addictionologist
and RN on staff, a personal counselor for each client, dual diagnosis
assessment, medications prescribed if necessary, an individual care
plan for each client and the option to extend the program to 60
or 90 days.

My name is Robert and I am writing this in hope to share with others
that there is a chance at freedom from institutions, addiction and
misery. I grew up in an alcoholic family always fighting and yelling.
I went from alcohol to drugs to prison. I found friendship and support
in recovering individuals in prison. What I didn't know was there
was another way at life. I was released from prison 2/1/02 and entered
Support Systems Homes. I met new people working at recovery and
did what was suggested of me. Support Systems encouraged me to get
get a sponsor, work the steps of recovery, and try to get and job
and begin living life sober. It worked. Today I have graduated from
the program, and 8 months later have started my own business. It
hasn't been easy, but I haven't used or drank for nearly a year.
A lot of prayers, reaching out for help, and shooting for the stars
has made my dream possible.
Shoot for your goals, reach out, and live in the moment. Life comes
one day, one moment at a time. This program works, you just have
to work it. Support Systems taught me the tools, but it is up to
me to do the footwork.

Today our son is one year free of drugs and alcohol. We want you to know how highly we value the contribution you, your staff and the Support Systems philosophy have made to his recovery.
This has been a long and bumpy road, with mnay detours along the way. The reality is it's a never ending road, requiring constant maintenance. We didn't give up hope, and neither did Support Systems.
The consistency of the Support Systems philosophy made this milestone possible for our son. All along the way, your messages were clear and concise, providing him with the tools he needed to be successful, in particular a SPONSOR and the STEPS. Still today, he diligently uses these resources, and there is no doubt they are the keys to his sobriety.
